To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or harm from using — or not being able to use — this site or anything it links to.

We're independent

KC Help Now is run by one person in Kansas City. We are not 211, not 988, not a hospital, not a government agency, and not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the organizations listed here. We just point you toward them.

When we send you to another organization's website or phone line, we don't control or operate it. Their information, privacy practices, and accessibility are their own. A link is not an endorsement, and we're not responsible for what happens on sites we don't run.

Your privacy

No ads. No accounts. No cookies. No tracking scripts. We don't profile you and we have nothing to sell. Two things do happen in the background: to keep the site online and safe, our web host records basic technical data for every request — including IP addresses — like nearly every website does; and we count anonymous page visits (a single number per page) so we know what to build next. None of it identifies you or follows you across the web.

If you email or send us a report, that message — and your email address if you include it — comes to us. Please don't send names, case numbers, Social Security numbers, medical details, immigration details, or other sensitive information. Our inbox is not monitored around the clock, is not confidential, and is not for emergencies.
